Choose the category first
An AMM supplies direct liquidity; an aggregator compares sources; an intent system delegates execution to solvers; a cross-chain interface adds movement between networks. Define the job first, then compare brands.
Compare the complete transaction
Use the same contracts, chain, input amount and time. Record output, gas, interface or protocol fees, price impact, slippage, approvals and expected completion. An attractive isolated rate is not the total transaction cost.
Check safety before connecting
Verify the official domain, token contract, active network and requested permissions. Review current documentation and audits and limit approvals where possible. Swaps and bridges can expose users to smart-contract, liquidity and fake-token risks.

Its swap products are designed to search supported liquidity sources and split a trade when the routing system estimates that doing so improves execution. It is worth comparing when the pair and network are supported and you want an additional route benchmark.

It is a different execution model from an immediate AMM swap and should be evaluated by supported chain, order behaviour and final amount received.

That expands route discovery, but it does not guarantee that every quote will always be the best: compare net output, gas, fees, price impact and slippage before signing.

Best for: A streamlined 0x-powered quote comparison
Matcha is a consumer swap interface built on 0x infrastructure. It aggregates supported liquidity rather than relying on one pool and presents the route through a relatively focused trading flow. It is useful as a second quote, but source coverage, affiliate or interface fees and network costs should be checked in the live transaction.

Sushi provides AMM liquidity and routing across several networks. It may surface a competitive route where Sushi pools or connected liquidity sources are deep for the selected pair. Best for: Native-asset swaps across supported blockchains
THORSwap provides an interface to THORChain and connected liquidity for cross-chain swaps. It addresses a different need from a same-chain AMM trade: moving value between supported native networks. Compare inbound and outbound fees, destination gas, settlement time and recovery procedures—not only the quoted exchange rate.

Jupiter aggregates liquidity for swaps on Solana and is therefore a relevant alternative when both assets are Solana tokens. It is not a drop-in answer for an Ethereum-only pair. Best for: Weighted pools and specialised liquidity designs
Balancer supports weighted and other programmable pool designs rather than limiting every pool to an equal two-token composition. Its liquidity can be relevant for particular assets and portfolio-style pools. For a normal swap, compare the actual route and final output; the flexibility of the pool architecture is not itself a guarantee of a better quote.
