How quotes, fees, token contracts and the cross-chain pilot work.
Reviewed October 14, 2026 against the application code and recorded route evidence. Availability still depends on the selected flow, current deployment and live quote.

One interface, separate route flows
Latin Link is a non-custodial interface. You connect your wallet, review a quote and transaction, then approve and sign from your wallet. A quote is an estimate and does not guarantee execution or the best price across the market.
- For eligible same-chain swaps, the server requests routing data from OpenOcean. TRON quotes use a separate SunSwap flow.
- Cross-chain quotes and transfer status use LI.FI, subject to an exact token, network direction and route allowlist.
- Latin Link does not accept deposits into a platform balance or hold your wallet keys. Some routes depend on third-party providers and on-chain contracts with their own risks.
The quote shows more than the platform fee
Current configured Latin Link swap fees are 0.075% for stablecoin-to-stablecoin pairs and 0.0999% for blue-chip or volatile pairs. The cross-chain pilot fee is 0.15%. Rates can change with product configuration; review the current quote before signing.
- Route or pool costs, network gas, price impact and slippage are separate parts of the total result.
- A route with a lower displayed fee may still produce less after gas, liquidity and other costs.
- The quote and the fees page provide the current estimate; a previous quote is not a price guarantee.
A network list is not a promise for every pair
The cross-chain pilot evaluates stablecoin routes across Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum and Base. The available token contracts and directions are narrower than that network list.
- Only exact, approved token contracts and directions can be quoted for execution. A route in one direction does not enable its reverse.
- Availability is checked by the application and can depend on deployment controls, provider connectivity and a fresh quote.
- Historical quote evidence is not proof of a completed transfer. A local quote is not proof of production availability; check the live application before relying on a route.
Verify token identity and the transaction target
A token symbol alone does not identify an asset. Latin Link uses chain IDs and exact token contract addresses when validating pilot pairs; bridged or wrapped versions can have a different contract and risk profile.
- Check the network and token contract in the market catalogue, then review the spender and transaction target shown by your wallet.
- OpenOcean supplies eligible same-chain routing; LI.FI supplies cross-chain quote and status data for allowlisted routes.
- The provider names describe technical integrations. They do not establish a commercial partnership or mean every provider route is enabled in Latin Link.
What the Metlabs review covered
Metlabs performed a static analysis of appWallet source code and dependencies on July 6, 2026. Its remediation-closure report, issued in September 2026, records 17 findings as corrected within the reviewed scope.
- The review did not cover the deployed runtime, infrastructure, third-party on-chain contracts or dynamic penetration testing.
- A code review is not a guarantee that an application, token, network or transaction is risk-free.
- Wallet-based operations still require you to verify the site, network, asset contract, permissions and transaction details before signing.
Cross-chain remains a controlled pilot
The current code caps each cross-chain operation at USD 500 and blocks quotes whose estimated net-value loss exceeds 5%. A deployment may set a lower cap or disable the flow. These checks reduce exposure; they do not guarantee settlement or eliminate risk.
- The server validates the exact token contracts, route, transaction target and approval spender against its allowlist. A provider connection or quote alone does not approve a route.
- Routes, estimates and provider capabilities can change. The live quote and wallet request are the source to review for each operation.
- Latin Link does not currently publish a supported public developer API. The app has first-party server endpoints, but they are not a documented or stable third-party integration contract.
