Connection and approval are different steps
Connecting reveals the selected account to the interface. Token approvals grant spending authority; signatures can also grant permissions. Read the full request even when it has no gas fee.
What to check

- Cancel any request for your recovery phrase or private key.
Disconnecting does not revoke existing approvals. If you granted an unnecessary allowance, review how to revoke it with your wallet or explorer tools.
